I remember when my grandfather was on his deathbed, he saw his deceased relatives and friends around him in the room and he would talk with them and he couldn't believe that others didn't see them.
Mind you he was a devoted communist war veteran, so he was completely opposed to spirituality and religion, he was a very technical and methodical kind of person.
Everyone knew in those moments that he was passing between the worlds.
