When they work outside of farm and they do it a lot, they use computers, mobile phones, drive cars (cannot own them) etc. They just don't have them at home. Young women babysit for English (others) families and watch Youtube there. They are not as detached as they used to be. But they managed quite a long time to hold on to the old lifestyle.
And still they have a high survival chance in case of a food supply chain failure. 😉

Their restaurants have real food too! 😋 And they sell fresh produce. So people around them have much better quality food too.
