Imagine sitting down for dinner with food purchased from a local farm, bakery or ranch. But before eating you prayed for rain because the farmer told you they were fighting to keep everything alive. Or for the baker because they work all hours of the night making sure you only get the freshest product. At the same time the rancher is praying a prayer of thankfulness for you because without your support they’d have to sell off their dream.

When we purchase locally the impact is immeasurable. Not only does it support our neighbors but it validates the hard work of kids that come home from school or practice and immediately get to work. If you hear “origin matters” take a minute and think about what it means. We may not all be the best (yet) but I guarantee you when you support local you are getting their best, and that matters.
