A few weeks after losing my husband...I didnt feel I could go on. I reached out on AU and Phaethon said something to me I'll never forget. "You get to decide how you come out on the other side of this" I haven't been the same since.
Reminds me of when I lost my husband 20 years as of yesterday. I felt hopeless, destroyed, unable to have any desire to live. The question kept bouncing in my head “Why me?” Then realization came to me “Why not me?” So many others in this world have suffered loss, why do I feel I’m more important than others?
