It appears the "EntertheStars" YouTube channel may have solved the mystery of the shape of the earth. The map actually helps to confirm it. If you look at the left side of the map, you'll notice that one particular image that is a perfect match for the human eye.
It actually shows the shape of the earth matching the convex lens of the eye and the hyaloid canal. I spliced together a short video that shows how EntertheStars connected the dots and how the map seems to align with it.
