There's one thing we know about Iraq, and time that we had a large military presence there.
This is (apparently) a "real thing."
There were BUNDLES of cash - enough to fill several tractor trailers - that were given to our soldiers so that they could bribe the locals. Of course, it is unaccounted for, and nobody knows where it went (Ahmed didn't give SGT Miller a receipt).
It's a weird setup, but it probably saved American lives.
