This Still goes down as one of my all-time favorite captures as a photographer. As far as the backstory goes, we had planned to enter Yosemite during a stormy winter day. Coming in the weather had already hit but the clouds were still rolling and more was still to come. Of course we stopped at Tunnel View because why not?

The mood with the low running clouds was quite amazing but it wasn't til I was fully packed and getting into my car that the skies opened up some and allowed the sun to shine down and create these two rainbows in it's wake. I scrambled to grab my camera and skated across the icy road to get back into my original spot. Without a tripod, I just started snapping away to try and capture this amazing view before the clouds rolled back across the sun and shielded it once more.

This is a product of right place right time coupled with seizing the moment.
