I was evicted today by text. I have no money to move, no place to go and nobody to help me. It's retaliatory. She's mad because someone saw a comment I made on FB about my landlord being a slumlord and told her. I never mentioned names. But it's the truth. She has refused to do repairs for years, and tells me if she has to fix anything my rent goes up. And she won't let me deduct the cost of repairs from the rent. I've lived with this nearly 15 years. I'm 71 years old and I feel she has been mentally abusive. My health has declined the past few years and mostly from stress. I'm not able to be packing and moving, I can barely walk.
I'll be making several phone calls if I'm thrown out. Code enforcement, health department, housing authority, and the abuse hotline. She won't rent this dump out again without spending a lot of time and money. Please remember me in your prayers. I'm pretty upset.
