The rivers Euphrates and Tigris (Hiddekel) rise in Armenia, which is supposed to be the land of Ararat of Bible history.

Noah's ark symbolizes the spiritual part of oneself, built in the midst of the flood of error. One builds one's ark on the scientific understanding of the wisdom, presence, and power of God.

The ark is built upon the affirmations of what one is in Spirit.

One takes into the ark one's wife (emotional), one's sons, and their wives (spiritual principles inhering in the soul), "and of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort" ("male and female," the positive and the negative activities of life in the organism); that is, one affirms Spirit as all in all, as primal essence.

The Noah of Genesis 6 to 9 was the son of Lamech. Lamech means a strong young man, and signifies the strength of youth, and Noah means rest.

Thus it is in the strength of our youth that we idealize the material and attach our spiritual enthusiasm to the things of sense.
