Getting out of Phoenix today and headed to the mountains where it's cooler. Gonna miss the debate live too, my nephew is graduating from the Fire Academy tonight, will be celebrating with family.

Was up with the sun and on the bike early. Got in a quick 20 miles and 1,000ft of climbing before the temp reached 100. Feelin' good, gonna make it a double day and run a couple miles when I get home.

Rewatched The Truman Show this afternoon and noticed so many things this time around that I didn't notice before. This button was one of them.

Was sitting outside this morning, barefoot, in my usual morning sun grounding spot & hubby came outside barefoot to join me. It shocked me, he NEVER does this! He's always in foot prisons even though he grew up running around barefoot & spent weekends waterskiing.

Another long day. Was blistering hot here again and don't feel like cooking, so having what my grandkiddos would call a "Snack Dinner". 🙃

Added 1/4 tsp of Ceylon Cinnamon to my morning coffee, smelled so good and Ceylon has so many health benefits! :)

Done with this day...headed to bed and it's not even 9pm. Haven't slept well in many days, hoping tonight is different. 🙏🏼

Hubby never goes to the grocery store, it's just something I've always done. Today was a long day with lots of yard work and I needed a couple items to make dinner. He offered to go and I said "OK!"

He came home with a couple extra items. What a sweetie.

Worked all day outside under the blazing sun, felt good to float in the cool pool with a frosty adult beverage! 😊

Temps dipped below 100 so I spent the day working in the garden. Topped out at 99, still HOT AF! 😜. Got everything trimmed and cleaned our dunk pool too, enjoying it now. Ahh!💧

Was stung by a wasp, got caught between my thigh & linen shorts. Fooken hurt!

20 day countdown to our big summer road trip, looking forward to adventuring with hubby! We'll be driving thru TX, OK, AR, TN, OH, IN, IL, IA, NE, CO, & NM. Making our way up to Iowa, then we are doing RAGBRAI again this year, riding our bikes across the whole state of Iowa. :)

Was up at 5am, getting in some miles on the bike while it's cool. Temp is only 77 right now, better than last night's 107 degree ride. Got to see a beautiful sunrise and the hot air balloons launching. :)

Trying to get miles in before RAGBRAI next month but it's so blazing 🔥HOT🔥 here already!

Went out for a ride tonight right before sunset and it was still 107 degrees. At least I got to see a beautiful Arizona sunset. 😊
