Investigating all avenues will lead to insights. One other technique to explore is myofacial trigger point therapy. Dr Janet Travell was President John F Kennedy's Physician and a leading pioneer in the study of referred pain and the discovery of trigger points. Sessions with a Trigger point therapist can be very helpful, and are often paired wtih stretches to do multiple times a day. Combine with other modalities.
I recommend this book and have great results from this technique combined with other modalities, however, keep learning, and always have more to work on and explore
