Hello Patriots! I published my first book today and I will appreciate any support, whether it is a purchase or a follow. I priced it at $9.19. The 9 dollars represents my numerological number and the 19 cents represents our 19th President, Donald J. Trump. I posted a snippet. https://gum.co/GettingButt-Naked

This my decode of the Times article any thoughts?

It is unfortunate that we have reached a point that information is not broken down. It does not matter the subject, if someone is loving enough to share their information, the least I can do is to listen, ask questions to ensure that I understand what is being transmitted, verify the validity of the information/evidence, and finally respond with an educated response that leads to a deeper mutual understanding.

(continued) This may not be able to be done immediately; that is fine. Take your time. Remember, if the speaker is found to be accurate, the entire discussion was for your benefit. You see, if the information is accurate the speaker's primary intention was to inform you. This is the most important aspect of the entire interaction. It is here that the learning happens. If the speaker is incorrect then the speaker gets to learn of her/his error. If the speaker is correct, then the listener gains information that they themselves have verified.

(continued) If there is a discrepancy, be sure to ask the speaker if this is what is said, refrain from telling the speaker what was said. To tell rather than ask will lead to an unnecessary and unproductive discussion/argument. This is avoidable, all you have to do is ask the speaker to clarify, it is their responsibility to ensure that you (the listener) understands what they are attempting to convey. (2) Accept the evidence into the conversation and research the information to verify the validity of the claim.

(continued) He was unable to see that a declaration that ALL politicians are crooked brought no relevant knowledge. No information was obtained or exchanged. It is the language of the defeated. By stating ALL, he was declaring that there is nothing that can be done about the swamp that has caused us so much misery.

So, rather than vent, I will provide a method of discovery:
When presented with new or unfamiliar information it is imperative that the listener (1) Listen carefully to the speaker and be sure to clarify any miscommunications.

(continued)...politicians are crooked. For him, this was a statement acknowledging his overall understanding that neither party is blameless. While this statement may be correct, it is beside the point. Now, by making the statement that ALL politicians are crooked, we end the discussion of the particular politician. My cousin, by no means, is a protector of the old dark guard (deep state); however, he carries their talking points. Without knowing it, he had used a logical fallacy to end the analysis of a particular politician.

The number one problem in our world is logical fallacies that prevent the fostering of critical thinking. We have made the fundamental error of being semi-knowledgeable about a subject, labeling the entire group, and washing our hands of the situation. While this may satisfy one's lack of understanding by replacing the truth with an understanding, it prevents one from digging deeper and finding the Truth of a singular matter.

This post was inspired by a conversation I had with my cousin. While I was attempting to talk about the crimes of a specific politician, he responded that ALL...
