There should be investigation into how this story was initially spread and any Member of Congress who used it for political gain, while either knowing better or having deliberately avoided learning more, should apologize.

There should be no politics in national security arena.

At this level in military readiness, The Air Force is ready to mobilize in 15 minutes. Base operations are changed significantly, with added security personnel. All Air Force essential personnel remain on base and are ready to mobilize and deploy. This condition also requires all military personnel to stay within fifty miles of their operating base. Commanders may order all their personnel to remain on base. DEFCON 3 corresponds to situations where there is a possibility of military action against the U. S. or our allies.

Want to be a super sleuth and be able to tell if something you see is a bogus post? Here are a couple of free websites I use to do just that.

4.https://tineye.com/ This site allows you to see if a picture has ever been used on the net before. It has it's weaknesses but is generally good.
5. https://tfr.faa.gov This site allows you to see all areas that have been blocked from air travel and why.
