One Person that Will Say Yes
Apr 28, 2025 Carter Conlon

The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare; and in His temple everyone says, “Glory!” (Psalm 29:8-9)

When the Lord finds a spirit that is willing, a heart that won’t resist Him, and has no need to reason everything out, there’s no limit to what God can do through that vessel.

All God needs is one person in your family, one person in your community, one person who will say yes. And when you say yes, His voice in a barren, dry, and empty place will bring life to dust and tear down all the opposition of the enemy—to the point where we cry out, “Glory!” Or, if you live in the South, you say, “Glory!”

Let’s believe Him for glory in and through all of our lives today, my brother, my sister.

Remember, it’s time to pray.

The End of You Is The Beggining of God
Apr 24, 2025 Carter Conlon

“This is Carter Conlon, Psalm 18, verses 37 to 40. I pursued them and overtook them, and I didn't turn back again until they were destroyed. I've wounded them so that they could not rise.

They've fallen under my feet. For you have armed me with strength for the battle. You've subdued under me those who rose up against me.

You've given me also the necks of my enemies, so I destroyed them who hated me. You see, it wasn't the end of King David's story when he came into these battles, and it's not the end of yours either. You may reach the limits of your own strength, but remember this, the end of you is the beginning of God.

When you feel like you've hit a wall, surrender it all to God. Allow him to take the lead and transform your situation into something new and something powerful. My brother, my sister, talk to God about your struggle today.

He's waiting to give you new strength. It's time to pray.”

Ask God to Guard Your Heart
Apr 23, 2025 Carter Conlon

I want to remind you today that we shouldn’t play games with God or start thinking that our thoughts are better than His. His words bring light, and in Christ, we have the promise of becoming a new creation.

Let’s walk according to His thoughts, not our own. Ask Him today for wisdom with the right intentions, trusting that God, as He says, will give it to you generously. Let the light within you remain bright and not turn to darkness.

Ask God today to guard your heart and keep you alive in Him. Ask Him to search you, as David prayed, and reveal anything within you that needs to change. This generation needs to see His church shining brightly again.

Ask Him to deliver you from compromise and help you love Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Join with us every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM eastern time at its time to pray.org because

it's now time to pray.

Let His Example Inspire You
Apr 22, 2025 Greg Laurie

“We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, about the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us again. On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us.” (2 Corinthians 1:8-10)

This is the Apostle Paul—chosen by God to write much of the New Testament—and yet he faced immense hardship. Despite these challenges, he persevered. Let his example inspire you today to stand firm in your struggles.

Talk to God about it today—He will be faithful to you, my brother and my sister.

It’s time to pray.

Jesus is Waiting for You
April 21, 2025 Carter Conlon

Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, “Sir, if you’ve carried him away, tell me where you’ve laid him, and I will take him away.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned and said to him, “Rabboni,” which is to say, “Teacher.”
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father, but go to my brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.’” (John 20:15-17)
This fallen world will always try to keep Jesus out of view and out of the public consciousness. The problem they have is that He is everywhere at all times—waiting, longing to bring us into His wonderful victory.
This Easter, why don’t you pray? Ask Him to reveal Himself to you again. He will. He’s waiting.
It’s time to pray.

He is resurrected, victorious, present, and all-powerful.

It’s time to pray.

Praying When Hope is Lost
Apr 18, 2025 Carter Conlon

But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept, she stooped down and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet where the body of Jesus had laid. Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they’ve taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid him.

Now, when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there but did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing him to be the gardener, said to him, “Sir, if you’ve carried him away, tell me where you’ve laid him, and I will take him away.”

Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him, “Rabbi,” which is to say, “Teacher” (John 20:11-16).

Easter Sunday reminds us that nothing or no one on this earth has the power to keep Jesus hidden when we truly seek Him.

It Is Well With My Soul
Apr 15, 2025 Carter Conlon

The Apostle Paul speaks of a peace that surpasses understanding—a profound sense of well-being that often has little to do with our external circumstances. As the hymn goes, “It is well with my soul,” this can become your song, no matter what we face or hear in the news.

You and I can find comfort in knowing that Christ restores our souls. We all make mistakes, and our lives can become tangled, but God’s mercy offers healing in every area. He restores our marriages, our relationships, our ability to love, and even our capacity to connect with others.

As Psalm 23:3 reminds us, “He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake,” emphasizing that our well-being reflects upon His honor.

God is deeply invested in your life today and promises to guide you as you trust in Him.

Pray for His guidance and trust that He will lead you on the right path.

It’s time to pray.

Not Just The Easy Moments
Apr 14, 2025 Carter Conlon

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

This encompasses all things—not just the pleasant or the easy moments, but every experience that you and I encounter. Each situation contributes to our growth and development as believers in Christ.

Even if the challenges we have faced were solely to bring us to this moment, it is truly worth it.

Remember that you will persevere. You will not be defeated. No matter what challenges arise, you will remain steadfast, for there is a strength within you that surpasses any obstacle this world may throw at you.

Do not be surprised by the trials you face—they are part of your journey. Embrace them, knowing that they will refine you and lead you to greater understanding and purpose.

Stand firm in your faith and trust that you are equipped to overcome.

It’s time to pray.

The Lord Is My Shepard
Apr 10, 2025 Carter Conlon

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. (Psalm 23:1-3)

Psalm 23, written by King David, beautifully illustrates that God is our Shepherd. David, having cared for his father’s sheep, understood the deep compassion and responsibility of a shepherd. He recognized that just as he looked after his flock, ensuring that none were in need, God cares for us with the same attention and love.

Even when we walk through difficult times, we don’t need to be afraid, for God is with us. He prepares a place of abundance in the presence of all our challenges, and His goodness and mercy will always follow you and me all the days of our lives.

God cares for you as your Shepherd. Trust Him today to meet your needs and find comfort in His presence through all of life’s challenges.

My brother, my sister,

It’s time to pray.

Reflect on Changes You Need
Apr 9, 2025 Carter Conlon

It’s troubling to do devotions at home while your life doesn’t reflect those beliefs—especially in front of your children. Many children turn away from God for this very reason.

We all need to pray for hearts that align with our faith, and this responsibility is for every one of us. If you seek change, be ready to walk away from anything that doesn’t honor God. Solomon’s choices led him to personal ruin, reminding us that our actions affect not just us, but also those we love.

Let’s commit today to living authentically and applying to ourselves the truth that we know.

Reflect today on what changes you need to make to align your life with your faith. Join with us every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. eastern time, at itstimetopray.org. We're praying for these things with people from all over the world. My brother, my sister, it's time to get serious with God.

It’s time to pray.

Be Encouraged
Apr 8, 2025 Carter Conlon

When I was just beginning my ministry and wholeheartedly serving God, my oldest son was severely burned in a fire. I found myself in the hospital, uncertain whether he would regain full use of his hand or suffer permanent scarring.

We also lost everything twice—once to a fire and once to a flood. I jokingly told Pastor Teresa that the only thing left for us was an earthquake, but I immediately regretted saying it.

Through these challenges, God has been our strength, our provision, and our protector. He was with us before the trials began and remained with us throughout. I find no fault in His faithfulness. Everything we have experienced has served a purpose, just as the Word of God assures us.

We stand today by the grace of Almighty God.

So be encouraged today and know that through every trial, God’s grace will carry you forward. Talk to Him about it today—He will be faithful to you.

It’s time to pray.

My Voice Is Above the Noise
Apr 7, 2025

The voice of the Lord is above the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. (Psalm 29:3-4)

Even though the sounds of the world may seem confusing, ferocious, and even deafening, God is saying to you, “My voice is above the noise.” All those destructive voices and sounds that have tried to attach themselves to you are powerless.

He stands above your self-perception. He’s above what others have spoken over you. He’s above all of the critics that surround you, and He’s above all of the doomsayers of our day.

Give glory to Him and let Him begin to speak to your heart again. Oh, I pray for you today that you and I would hear His voice anew and discover what we’ve been called to do as His new creation.

It’s time to pray.

Have You Ever Had One of Those Weeks?
Apr 4, 2025 Carter Conlon

For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land. (Psalm 95:3-5)

If you’ve ever had one of those weeks when it seemed like everything that could go wrong did, thank God for the knowledge that He holds all things in the palm of His hands. The day you came to Christ as your Savior, you were planted in the palm of His hands. You are secure in the hand of God. There’s no one, there’s nothing—no mountains, no valleys, no broken relationships, no trial—that can take you and me out of the hand of God. Oh yes, you might feel the shake or the warmth of the fire, but by no means will it ever destroy you.

Oh God, thank You.

It’s time to pray.

You Might Want To Throw In The Towel
Apr 3, 2025 Carter Conlon

When you face betrayal and struggles in your life, you may encounter moments when you feel you lack the strength to move forward. You might even want to throw in the towel or call it quits, but these challenges are inevitable.

However, Jesus assures us, “I have overcome the world.” And every tongue that rises against you, you can condemn, for you’ve been given a righteousness that no one can take away from you. You are sealed in the Father’s hand—safe and secure—even in the midst of your temptations and trials.

While the days ahead might be tough and far from smooth sailing, remember that Jesus Christ lives within you. When you encounter challenges, remind yourself of the strength and security that you now have in Christ. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that you are not alone and that victory is already yours through Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior.

My brother, my sister, It’s time to pray.

Apply them to Your Life
Apr 2, 2025 Carter Conlon

Let’s avoid ending our lives bitter and disillusioned. This can happen to anyone, even the wisest among us. If we think it can’t happen to us, then we’re being naive.

We may not fully understand what actually lies in our hearts, and if we become complacent in studying God’s Word or begin to neglect our prayer life, we risk missing vital insights—even in the church we attend. Instead of thinking, “Others need to hear this message,” we must first apply it to our own lives.

Distance yourself from toxic relationships and resist worldly seductions. Commit yourself today to personally engage with God’s teachings, ensuring that you apply them to your life and make choices that reflect His truth. Join with us every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. eastern time, where we're gathering together with people from all over the world.

Now, above all times,

It’s time to pray.

Talk to Him about it today, because, my brother and my sister,

It’s time to pray.

Struggles You Didn't Anticipate
Apr 1, 2025 Carter Conlon

I’ve been deeply burdened for the people of God, especially for the younger generation. Many of you are new in your faith and may not yet fully understand what your journey will entail. You might have formed an impression of what the Christian life looks like, and while it may seem good, it might not be complete or entirely accurate.

You may find yourself overwhelmed by your own weaknesses, difficult circumstances, and challenges that will come your way. There will be voices that oppose you, battles to fight, and struggles you didn’t anticipate. You may have thought that coming to Christ would rid you of all your problems, and while some of that is true, new challenges still await you.

Embrace the reality of the challenges ahead, and prepare yourself to face them with the strength that is promised to you from Jesus Christ. Allow Him to be glorified through your life by giving you strength that only He can give.

Hold On To Jesus
Mar 31, 2025 Carter Conlon

Psalm 22 begins with these words: “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” King David felt overwhelmed, asking God, “Why are You so far from helping me?”

Have you ever prayed like that? He continued, “I cry out to You in the daytime, but You do not hear me.” (Psalm 22:2)

David was saying, in a sense, “I’m doing my part—where are You, God?” Have you ever sat in church, hearing others share victories while you struggle?

When you feel overwhelmed, spend time with God in prayer, trusting that He hears you and that your story is still unfolding. Hold on to Jesus—He hasn’t forsaken you. You are called to be a part of God’s army, and through you, He will bring His name to reputation.

Believe God for a miracle in your own life.

It’s time to pray.

I Will Disguise Myselt
Mar 28, 2025

1 Kings 22:29-30 “So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, went up to Ramoth Gilead. And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, ‘I will disguise myself and go into battle; but you put on your robes.’ So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.”

Are you someone who disguises your conversation, your actions, and your behavior when you go into the house of God or around other Christians? If you’ve allowed the enemy any portion of your life by pretending to walk in righteousness—pretending to be one of God’s children but unwilling to be real and vulnerable—may I just say, it’s not others who are being fooled, it’s you.

It’s time to be real and humble before God and others so that we may be healed. The Bible tells us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

For you and for me, it’s time to pray.

To Fully Embrace Gods Plan
Mar 27, 2025 Carter Conlon

In a world filled with darkness and confusion, it’s easy to feel disheartened. However, we can find hope knowing that God has a plan for these last days. He has promised to prosper us, to give us hope and a future.

As believers, you and I are called to embrace God’s plan and be active participants in His divine purpose. We must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit within us to overcome every obstacle and shine His light into a world that so desperately needs it.

To fully embrace God’s plan, we need to trust in His wisdom and surrender our limitations to His limitless power. This may not come naturally to all of us, but peace in the storm is available—and it is promised to each one of us.

Let’s pray for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to walk boldly in faith and make a difference in the world around us.

It’s time to pray.

Beyond Your Current Struggles
Mar 26, 2025 Carter Conlon

King David didn’t end his journey surrounded by despair, fear, or ungodliness. In Psalm 18:36, he declares, “You enlarged my path under me, so that my feet did not slip.”

In other words, God provided a way where there seemed to be none. David reminds us that God leads us in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

When facing uncertainty—whether it’s returning to a challenging job, a difficult neighborhood, or even a dark room you call home—David’s words still resonate. He found that God expanded his vision beyond his immediate circumstances.

Trust that God can enlarge your path, give you clarity in your journey, and help you see beyond your current struggles.

God, we are trusting You now to be our help.

It’s time to pray.

Sitting In Church 45 Years Ago
Mar 25, 2025 Carter Conlon

I remember sitting in church 45 years ago, on the edge of my seat, wondering if it could be true. Could it be possible that there’s something greater for my life than what I had planned for myself? Could it be that God had thoughts and plans for me beyond everything else that had ever been said to define me?

There comes a moment in your life—just as it did in mine—when you simply accept that God’s plan is bigger. And you say, “Lord, I accept that You’ve chosen to do a work through my life, a work that will bring honor to Your name and glory to You. In whatever sphere of influence You place me, my life will start making a difference because You’ll lead me there.”

So let’s embrace this truth and be ready for the impact our lives will have as we walk in the strength and guidance of God. My brother, my sister, you won’t regret it, and God will never let you down.

It’s time to pray.

We All Need To Get There Now
Mar 24, 2025

1 Kings 20:32“So they wore sackcloth around their waists and put ropes around their heads and came to the king of Israel and said, ‘Your servant Ben-Hadad says, “Please let me live.”’ And he said, ’Is he still alive? He is my brother.”

There are many who are moved but not moved enough to bring a total change of lifestyle to their lives. Deception is going to increase in the coming days, and those who think they can worship God while continuing in sin are sadly mistaken.

Either we allow the power of Christ to extinguish sin once and for all, or we will find ourselves fighting an ongoing battle that we were never meant to fight—making the cross of Christ of no effect.

God is calling you and me to higher ground in Christ. We are going to need to be there in the coming flood, and we need to get there now.

For you and I, it’s time to pray.
