Talk to Him about it today, because, my brother and my sister,

It’s time to pray.

Struggles You Didn't Anticipate
Apr 1, 2025 Carter Conlon

I’ve been deeply burdened for the people of God, especially for the younger generation. Many of you are new in your faith and may not yet fully understand what your journey will entail. You might have formed an impression of what the Christian life looks like, and while it may seem good, it might not be complete or entirely accurate.

You may find yourself overwhelmed by your own weaknesses, difficult circumstances, and challenges that will come your way. There will be voices that oppose you, battles to fight, and struggles you didn’t anticipate. You may have thought that coming to Christ would rid you of all your problems, and while some of that is true, new challenges still await you.

Embrace the reality of the challenges ahead, and prepare yourself to face them with the strength that is promised to you from Jesus Christ. Allow Him to be glorified through your life by giving you strength that only He can give.

Hold On To Jesus
Mar 31, 2025 Carter Conlon

Psalm 22 begins with these words: “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” King David felt overwhelmed, asking God, “Why are You so far from helping me?”

Have you ever prayed like that? He continued, “I cry out to You in the daytime, but You do not hear me.” (Psalm 22:2)

David was saying, in a sense, “I’m doing my part—where are You, God?” Have you ever sat in church, hearing others share victories while you struggle?

When you feel overwhelmed, spend time with God in prayer, trusting that He hears you and that your story is still unfolding. Hold on to Jesus—He hasn’t forsaken you. You are called to be a part of God’s army, and through you, He will bring His name to reputation.

Believe God for a miracle in your own life.

It’s time to pray.

I Will Disguise Myselt
Mar 28, 2025

1 Kings 22:29-30 “So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, went up to Ramoth Gilead. And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, ‘I will disguise myself and go into battle; but you put on your robes.’ So the king of Israel disguised himself and went into battle.”

Are you someone who disguises your conversation, your actions, and your behavior when you go into the house of God or around other Christians? If you’ve allowed the enemy any portion of your life by pretending to walk in righteousness—pretending to be one of God’s children but unwilling to be real and vulnerable—may I just say, it’s not others who are being fooled, it’s you.

It’s time to be real and humble before God and others so that we may be healed. The Bible tells us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

For you and for me, it’s time to pray.

To Fully Embrace Gods Plan
Mar 27, 2025 Carter Conlon

In a world filled with darkness and confusion, it’s easy to feel disheartened. However, we can find hope knowing that God has a plan for these last days. He has promised to prosper us, to give us hope and a future.

As believers, you and I are called to embrace God’s plan and be active participants in His divine purpose. We must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit within us to overcome every obstacle and shine His light into a world that so desperately needs it.

To fully embrace God’s plan, we need to trust in His wisdom and surrender our limitations to His limitless power. This may not come naturally to all of us, but peace in the storm is available—and it is promised to each one of us.

Let’s pray for the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to walk boldly in faith and make a difference in the world around us.

It’s time to pray.

Beyond Your Current Struggles
Mar 26, 2025 Carter Conlon

King David didn’t end his journey surrounded by despair, fear, or ungodliness. In Psalm 18:36, he declares, “You enlarged my path under me, so that my feet did not slip.”

In other words, God provided a way where there seemed to be none. David reminds us that God leads us in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

When facing uncertainty—whether it’s returning to a challenging job, a difficult neighborhood, or even a dark room you call home—David’s words still resonate. He found that God expanded his vision beyond his immediate circumstances.

Trust that God can enlarge your path, give you clarity in your journey, and help you see beyond your current struggles.

God, we are trusting You now to be our help.

It’s time to pray.

Sitting In Church 45 Years Ago
Mar 25, 2025 Carter Conlon

I remember sitting in church 45 years ago, on the edge of my seat, wondering if it could be true. Could it be possible that there’s something greater for my life than what I had planned for myself? Could it be that God had thoughts and plans for me beyond everything else that had ever been said to define me?

There comes a moment in your life—just as it did in mine—when you simply accept that God’s plan is bigger. And you say, “Lord, I accept that You’ve chosen to do a work through my life, a work that will bring honor to Your name and glory to You. In whatever sphere of influence You place me, my life will start making a difference because You’ll lead me there.”

So let’s embrace this truth and be ready for the impact our lives will have as we walk in the strength and guidance of God. My brother, my sister, you won’t regret it, and God will never let you down.

It’s time to pray.

We All Need To Get There Now
Mar 24, 2025

1 Kings 20:32“So they wore sackcloth around their waists and put ropes around their heads and came to the king of Israel and said, ‘Your servant Ben-Hadad says, “Please let me live.”’ And he said, ’Is he still alive? He is my brother.”

There are many who are moved but not moved enough to bring a total change of lifestyle to their lives. Deception is going to increase in the coming days, and those who think they can worship God while continuing in sin are sadly mistaken.

Either we allow the power of Christ to extinguish sin once and for all, or we will find ourselves fighting an ongoing battle that we were never meant to fight—making the cross of Christ of no effect.

God is calling you and me to higher ground in Christ. We are going to need to be there in the coming flood, and we need to get there now.

For you and I, it’s time to pray.

Let All My Enemies Be Ashamed
Mar 21, 2025

Psalm 6:9-10“The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer. Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly.”

Walking in victory requires honesty. True and lasting victory comes from a humble heart. The Bible says that God draws near to the contrite and the brokenhearted. God draws near to the man or woman who says, “I’m sorry for what I’ve done. I’m sorry for what I’ve allowed to remain in my life.”

When you and I ask for forgiveness and accept God’s victory through His Son, Jesus Christ, God will cause the enemy of our souls to turn back suddenly and lose ground in our lives. If we turn to God, humble ourselves, and start to pray, He will receive our prayer and He will deliver us.

Thank God for this great truth.

It’s time to pray.

They Saw The Mountains
Mar 20, 2025 Carter Conlon

When the Israelites reached the border of the Promised Land, ten spies brought back what the Bible refers to as an evil report. The people embraced this report because it aligned with their preexisting doubts and fears. These spies simply confirmed the negative beliefs the people had held all along.

They believed they were not capable, not strong enough, and lacked the necessary skills to conquer. They saw the mountains as too high and the giants as too formidable. Doubt crept in, questioning whether their desired outcome would ever come to fruition.

However, I want to challenge you to resist embracing such a negative report. You see, it’s not about you or your abilities alone. It’s about the presence of God within you that makes all the difference.

Let Jesus Christ be your strength. Let Him be your victory. Let Him be your guide. Let Him conquer for you.

It’s time to pray.

When You Feel Overwhelmed
Mar 19, 2025 Carter Conlon

Just read the news, and you’ll see that godliness is lacking in our generation. Like a snowball rolling downhill, godlessness is growing larger.

David felt similarly when he said, “The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; in my distress, I called upon the Lord.” (Psalm 18:5-6) I imagine his cry was much like my own. Sometimes I pray, “Jesus, help me.” Sometimes, we can’t even manage that—just a desperate “Ah!” When words fail us, God still understands our hearts.

Remember, this wasn’t the end of David’s story, and it isn’t the end of yours either. When you feel overwhelmed, reach out to God. Trust that He hears you even when you have no more words left.

Now, more than ever, we need each other. We need to pray. We need to believe. We need to trust God for our futures.

It’s time to pray.

Gods Plan For Your Life Is Greater
Mar 18, 2025 Carter Conlon

When you lay your head on the pillow at night or wake up in the morning, there’s a persistent thought that enters your heart—the realization that your life is destined for something more than you thought it was. Even if your current circumstances seem great, this thought still lingers.

Let’s take inspiration from the story of Nehemiah. He was focused on building a wall, but others tried to divert him to a different task. They attempted to distract him with good opportunities. However, Nehemiah understood his calling and responded to those who reached out to him, saying that he couldn’t leave his current mission because it was a great thing. He refused to settle for something merely good when he was called to do something extraordinary.

Don’t settle for a good thing if God has called you to do something great in this world. Trust that His plan for your life is greater than anything you can imagine.

It’s time t

Start Naming People
Mar 17, 2025

1 Timothy 2:1“Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men.”

There are people out there, believe it or not, who are sick of sin, hopelessness, and addictions—sick of looking for entertainment, sick of being in the field eating pig’s food like prodigals.

If you and I would have the courage to pray—not just some ambiguous prayer, but start naming people—people in your office, in your building, in your family, in your own house—asking God to move in their lives specifically, I believe we would stand in awe of how God answers those prayers. No matter where they are, pray that God would bring them into the kingdom so that they may have, as you do, eternal life.

Do you believe that God is able to do this? I do. I believe it with all my heart. Do you believe it?

For you and I, it’s time to pray.

Constant Prayer
Mar 14, 2025

Acts 12:4-5“So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.”

Have you noticed that there is a death passing over this nation—a death to civility, unity, morality, and even a sense of well-being? God makes a distinction between a perishing society and His own people. Situations of captivity may seem hopeless, but God will cause His mercy to pass over His people once again.

As we continue to stand in the gap through prayer, it’s time to cry out to God—not just when it’s convenient, but constantly. As the church did for Peter, God answered their prayer. He will answer ours.

It’s time to pray.

You Can Feel It In Your Heart
Mar 13, 2025 Carter Conlon

If you have the Spirit of God within you, you already have a deep conviction because God has planted it there. It’s the understanding that your life is meant for more than what you are today or what you envision for tomorrow. There is a greater purpose for your life, and you can feel it in your heart. You know that God has a plan for you—it’s like a longing He has placed within you.

The Bible teaches us that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with unspoken groanings, trying to align us with the will of God. This inner awareness runs deep within you.

It’s time to acknowledge that God has a unique plan for your life. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you and for His intercession to begin leading you. Let go of any doubts and limitations and fully embrace the calling He has placed within you.

Talk to Him about it. It’s time to pray.

Every Struggle Is Part of Your Preperation
Mar 12, 2025

David was anointed to reign, yet his middle story reveals profound struggles. In Psalm 18:4, he writes, “The pangs of death surrounded me.”

Remember, this is the sweet psalmist, the beloved shepherd, and the future king of Israel. Just as David was destined to rule, we too are called to reign with Christ. When we receive Christ, the Spirit of God comes upon us, and the Bible promises that one day we will rule alongside Him.

Like David, you are anointed. And just as he faced challenges, you will too. It’s time to trust God’s plans and remember that every struggle is part of your preparation to fulfill your purpose in Christ.

God, give us the strength we need to make a difference in our generation.

It’s time to pray.

You Are Chosen
Mar 11, 2025 Carter Conlon

When the Israelites left Egypt, they knew they were destined to be a people with supernatural abilities, as promised to their ancestor Abraham. They were meant to bring God’s name to reputation through His power and presence.

However, the first generation didn’t accept this calling. They ended up living and dying in the wilderness without fulfilling their purpose. In other words, they never became what God intended them to be.

Today, my prayer for you is that you not only recognize and learn but also accept the truth. Accept the fact that God has a plan for your life that is greater than anything you can imagine. Let it go beyond mere understanding and truly embrace the fact that you are chosen to bring God’s name to reputation in our day.

Take a step of faith and say, “I accept, God, that You’ve chosen me to bring Your name to glory through my life.”

It’s time to pray.

Proclaim the Truth and Never Be Ashamed
Mar 10, 2025 Carter Conlon

Acts 12:1-3“Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. Then he killed James, the brother of John, with the sword. And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also.”

There is a rise of intolerance today toward those who hold to a biblical worldview. The arm of evil is rising up to attack the very foundation of the faith of those who profess that Jesus Christ is Lord. The devil would love to take down every voice that stands for Jesus.

But I believe with all my heart that this is the most fertile time for a spiritual awakening. God wants us to stand on His word without hypocrisy or compromise. Take courage, my brothers and sisters. Proclaim the truth that will set the captives free, and never, ever be ashamed of the gospel.

For you and I, it’s time to pray.

Pray That You May Not Enter
Mar 7, 2025 Carter Conlon

Luke 22:40: Speaking of Jesus, “When He came to the place, He said to them, ‘Pray that you may not enter into temptation.’”

There are many things that are tempting this generation. The list is just too long to name, but in this moment, it wasn’t a temptation of lust or addiction that Jesus was referring to. The temptation for the disciples was to abandon the divine purpose that God had for each of their lives.

Pray, Jesus exhorted them. Pray that you don’t quit. Pray that you don’t turn away when it gets hard and when you don’t understand what’s going on around you. Pray as Jesus did, that when the hour comes, it will not be your will, but God’s will that is done.

Pray like the Apostle Paul, and you’ll know with confidence that your light and momentary afflictions are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in you one day.

It’s time to pray.

Even In Tough Times
Mar 5, 2025 Carter Conlon

Everyone has a middle story, and many of you are living in yours right now.

You’ve moved past the initial romance phase of your new faith in Christ—just like a newlywed couple who initially overlook each other’s flaws. But over time, little habits, like socks on the bathroom floor, reveal areas that need growth.

David, too, had a middle story filled with challenges. This phase teaches us to love God and trust Him as we face valleys and enemies in our lives. Even in tough times, remember that adversaries can only use what they have to serve the purposes of God in your life.

Embrace your middle story. Recognize the growth that it offers, and trust that each challenge shapes you for a greater purpose.

More than ever before, it’s time to pray.

Even When You Feel Undeserving
Mar 4, 2025

God is not just going to set you free from fear—He will take you even farther than you asked. He will put you on a path that brings glory to His name.

Don’t let it become complicated. Just acknowledge in your heart that Jesus died to save you. Then invite Him into your life and ask Him to forgive you. It can be as simple as saying:

“Jesus, thank You for dying for me. I want You to be my Savior, and now I want to live for You.”

Then talk to Him and share your desires for your future. Tell Him that you want to live—and that you want to live to bring glory to His name. Thank Him for giving His life for you and for His mercy, even when you don’t feel like you deserve it.

Open your heart to His saving grace and trust Him now with your entire life and your entire future.

You’ve heard these words today. Now talk to God.

It’s time to pray.

We Are Surrounded
Mar 3, 2025 Carter Conlon

Hebrews 12:1-2: Therefore, we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin, which so easily ensnares us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who, for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

What was the joy that was set before Him? The joy is that he saw you turning from your sin. He saw your sin being blotted out. He saw you filled with his life, walking with Him forever. What an ever-deepening joy to be had! Oh, thank God that Jesus saw you and me in the garden of Gethsemane, and instead of turning back, he went all the way for us.

It’s time to pray.

The Gospel Is About Other People
Feb 28, 2025
Carter Conlon

Acts 4:29-31 – “Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.” And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

So many today are asking for power for themselves, but this self-focus is often the very reason they haven’t yet found victory.

As we grow in Christ, we begin to understand that the gospel is about others. When we step beyond our own struggles and reach out to others, that’s when we see chains begin to break.

May God stretch out His hand through your life today, so that somebody may be healed.

It’s time to pray.

A Profound Oppportunity
Feb 27, 2025 Carter Conlon

Throughout the years at Times Square Church, I have witnessed countless individuals entering our gatherings, often overwhelmed by God’s presence.

It is truly a beautiful sight to behold—a diverse assembly of people from over a hundred nations coming together in unity.
In a world where many of our home countries are embroiled in conflict, here, we find peace. We can sit side by side—even with those from nations we may be at odds with—and we worship together.

This is truly something to be thankful for. It serves as a powerful testament to the strength of our faith and the love of Christ that transcends borders. As the world around us seems to be falling apart, the church is rising in unity.

This is a profound opportunity for us to share our testimony of Christ in this generation.

Let’s embrace this calling to be beacons of hope and reconciliation.

My brother, my sister, remember above all else—

it’s time now
