๐ป I hear you & face the same dilemma, Pike.
There are so many movies & actors I've loved
but can't watch anymore.
Am with you on Hanks. No way.
I totally understand loving a piece of Art
& being loathe to admit that those behind it
were demons.
IMO, Polanski was always REALLY dark;
maybe because his early life was horrific.
He was a child in the Krakรณw Ghetto in WW2.
And then there's ROSEMARY'S BABY.
But I admit CHINATOWN is brilliant.
Jack Nicholson's house had a tunnel under it
that connected to the Playboy Mansion,
as did James Caan, Warren Beatty
& Kirk Douglas ๐ฅ
It's hard to let go of those we once thought
were so amazing ๐

Spot on! The last 3 years was the ultimate test of walking against the crowd. They may make you feel weird or anything else but think it is only to hide their own follies. Sometimes ego at play. Silently they respect that you stood tall against all odds. People are waking up even if they do not show it.
