In Episode 4 of my Mark Carney series, I break down whether his “net zero” climate agenda is actually helping the planet or just creating a carbon cash cow for himself and Brookfield. Since becoming Prime Minister, Carney scrapped the consumer carbon tax, doubled down on industrial carbon pricing, pushed carbon credits and carbon capture, and cut deals that let Canadian oil and gas expand under a “green” label.
