It basically worked too! The only comment about politics was a bit sheepish and the slant my aunt used was about “social media” and “msm”, twisted into a neat little pretzel, with just a hint of dishonesty - about why she avoids both (not realizing I still check in on FB to lurk for pictures from my kids) and how she now chooses to practice her pause rather than to get all worked up. Um, okay, so nobody added to the conversation and it pretty much went unnoticed or unchallenged - which I will take as a huge win!!! 💪 Carry on, you may now go back to your regularly scheduled program and I will go back to being a digital soldier, no harm, no foul.
