Hope, I think all technology can be used for GOOD or BAD, and that goes for AI, too.
The Cabal used a malevolent AI, but the Alliance and White Hats absolutely have a GOOD AI to counter that.
In some ways, GOOD AI can free Humanity up to concentrate on other things, too.
I reckon we need AI for space travel, lest one fly smack into an asteroid or somethin'. I hear all space-operations need AI.
GOOD AI might also help us in very dangerous professions like mining, which is very hazardous.
Today in organic farming - they already use an AI controlled laser-weeder that automatically identifies & burns weeds but leaves veggies alone to keep growing.
Then, I hear MEDBEDS use a very benevolent AI that is totally controlled to allow Folks to choose what treatments they want, but MEDBEDS require an AI to scan & repair our bodies, because our bodies are so very complex.
Just needs to be GOOD, BENEVOLENT AI.
