In early December, Milley was so certain that there would be violence at the Capitol on Jan 6 that he said the Secretary of Defense couldn’t attend a military awards ceremony at DIA that day, because he had to be at the Pentagon for security reasons.

How did he know so far in advance? Why didn’t he take appropriate action?
