As part of those tax cuts I have announced
I will eliminate taxes on tips for restaurant & hospitality workers
& anyone else relying on tips.
NO MORE TAXES ON TIPS. NO TAXES ON TIPS. NONE.
NONE.
In fact when you get your receipt for a restaurant
you know who sent me one? Kid Rock. Isn’t he great?
He sent me a receipt & he wrote on the receipt:
“VOTE FOR TRUMP & YOU WON’T PAY TAXES ON TIPS‼️”
He wrote that on the receipt.
I thought, that’s very smart. Smart guy.
So for restaurant workers, hotel workers, car people,
ANYBODY RECEIVING TIPS
THERE’S NO MORE TAX ON TIPS
& I think that’s going to be a great thing.
You know, they earned it.
Lot of people don’t get tips, if you don’t like the service,
you don’t give them anything.
But if somebody does a good job you’re supposed to pay tax on it,
so we’re ending that immediately. Effective immediately 💥
